I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas!
The Puyallup Santa Parade is one of the highlights of the holiday season in Downtown Puyallup. Over 100 parade entries light up Meridian on one magical evening. Thousands of families line Meridian to marvel at the sight of holiday floats, marching bands, antique tractors while they await the arrival of Jolly Old Saint Nick himself as he arrives on a Central Pierce Firetruck.
The theme to this year's Santa Parade is the Irving Berlin song "I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas" which was performed in the musical "Holiday Inn" back in 1942 and again in the movie "White Christmas" in 1954. We will be judging entries and awarding prizes for the following:
- Best Adaptation of Theme - Commercial
- Best Adaptation of Theme - Non-Commercial
- Grand Marshal's Pick
