SUMMARY:2019 Western Washington Summer Cluster Dog Show
DESCRIPTION:The Puyallup Valley Dog Fanciers\, the Gig Harbor Kennel Club and the Tacoma Kennel Club have joined forces once again to bring dog lovers the annual Western Washington Summer Cluster Dog Show! Thousands of dogs and their owners will get the chance to strut their stuff in the show ring Saturday\, July 6th through Monday\, July 8th at the Washington State Fair Events Center\, 110 9th Avenue SW\, Puyallup\, Washington 98371 from 8 AM to 5 PM each day. The event is great for the whole family with free admission and just a $5 parking fee. \nSPECTATORS CAN: \n\nMeet and greet a variety of different dog breeds. Visitors can learn about responsible dog ownership and speak with breeders\, owners and handlers. (ALL DAYS)\nWatch the judging of various breeds in Conformation and cheer for your favorite. (ALL DAYS)\nSee young owner-handlers compete against their peers in the Junior Showmanship Competition. (ALL DAYS)\nWatch Obedience and rally trials test dogs’ understanding of commands\, as they maneuver hurdles & retrieve articles. (ALL DAYS)\nWatch owner-handlers compete in a special series called the National Owner-Handled Series. These exhibitors are striving for a spot in the finals at the AKC National Championship presented by Royal Canin in Orlando in December. (ALL DAYS)\nWatch children as young as five years old get started in the sport by participating in a Pee Wee competition. (SAT ONLY)\nWatch owners test their dogs’ manners as they take them through the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test (CGC). (SAT & SUN)\nSee puppies getting started in the sport in the AKC Sanctioned 4 and under 6 Months Puppy Competition. (SUN ONLY)\nOn-site health testing clinics will be available. (SAT & SUN)
