Holiday Inn Undergoes Remodel 
In case you haven't noticed, the Holiday Inn Express - Puyallup on South Hill has been going through some major changes lately. From new logo to exterior paint and interior improvements, the Holiday Inn has become THE place to book overnight stays for guests or just a night out for yourself!
 
"Our renovation encompasses our entire hotel," states Traci Nelson, Director of Sales. "Top to bottom, inside and out. We've put over a million dollars into the hotel and began at the beginning of the year. The outside was painted, lobby completely refurnished, our breakfast room overhauled and the guest rooms look brand new. We've updated carpet, got new 42" flat screen TV's, curtains, furniture and new vanities in the bathrooms to name a few of the details. Of course we've kept all the old favorites like the in-room DVD players and lending library as well as the 24-hour cookies. Other changes are a new 24-hour market with snacks and beverages to cure any late night cravings and a revamped business center. We still give our guests complimentary access to Bally Total Fitness and added an onsite fitness center to give our guests options."

Puyallup Police Home Makeover
The Puyallup Police Department will once again be conducting a "Home Makeover" for a local resident. The home selected for the makeover is the home of former Councilmember George Dill. Due to the unexpected passing of Councilmember Dill, his family is unable to care for their home. Several projects, many started by Councilmember Dill before his passing, will be completed including landscaping, exterior pressure washing and painting, and other aesthetic and safety improvements for the exterior of the home.

The Home Makeover will be held Saturday, August 7, 2010 from 7:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Dog Daze Natural Pet Market is collecting donations for the Puyallup Food Bank. They are in real need of cat food, but anything you can spare is welcome and much appreciated. There is a large donation bin at the front of the store.
