This March, come to downtown Puyallup and share your Celtic heritage. We will be putting a new twist on the tradition of wearing green. The Celtic tradition is celebrated by music, good food and community... all of our favorite things.

Clan Uprising
Once again members of several Scottish clans will be stationed throughout downtown telling stories and providing information about their heritage. The Puget Sound Welsh Society is also joining in on the fun!
Pet Parade and Fun
The Celtic Dog Parade will take place at 12:00 pm. Bring your furry friends to march through town led by many of the Celtic Dog breeds such as Irish Wolfhounds, Scottish Terriers, English Sheepdogs and more. Other activities for your dog will be taking place in Pioneer Park starting at 10:00 am.
Musical Performances
World-reknowned Scottish entertainer, Red McWilliams will be performing his unique and very funny songs inside Charlie's Restaurant throughout the day. Check schedule on the day of the event for exact times.
The "Great Kilt" Demonstration
Cathy McWilliams, master kilt maker, will be on hand again demonstrating "The Great Kilt", the traditional dress of the Scottish Highlanders. Learn the history of the Great Kilt while audience members assist Cathy in the traditional way of dressing in the Great Kilt!
Have a Bite to Eat
Many of the local restaurants will be serving up special Irish and Scottish dishes on tis special day. Shephards Pie, pasties, and more will be availabe to satisfy your hunger.
Pub Crawl
And new this year.... the Celtic Faire Pub Crawl! Purchase a special $5 Green Beer mug from PMSA and you'll receive $1 off special featured Irish and Scottish beers at local pubs and restaurants. Mugs can be purchased at the PMSA office located at 107 N. Meridian on the day of the event. Beer providers include Crockett's Public House, Station U-Brew, Charlie's Restaurant, Mazatlan, Bumpy's Tavern, and It's Greek to Me.
